CHANGE THE BEAT RETURNS TO THE DOWNBEAT

Change the Beat, the nonprofit organization dedicated to championing women and underrepresented artists in electronic music, returns to The Downbeat in Victoria on Saturday, September 19.

Following the evening's workshop and panel, Change the Beat takes over the dance floor for the official club night with an all-women lineup featuring Sydney Blu (Toronto), DJ Leanne and PureBL!SS.

Headlining the night is Change the Beat founder and international DJ/producer Sydney Blu, bringing her signature blend of house, tech and progressive sounds back to Victoria. She'll be joined by DJ Leanne, making her highly anticipated return to The Downbeat, and rising local artist PureBL!SS.

Change the Beat works to create greater representation and opportunities across electronic music through education, mentorship, community initiatives and events around the world.Come dance with us and celebrate the women shaping electronic music in Victoria and beyond.
